Welcome. I am an Instructor in the Department of Government and Politics at the University of Maryland and a Political Science Adjunct Instructor at Gettysburg College. I am completing my Ph.D. requirements in Government and Politics at the University of Maryland and will defend my dissertation in Spring 2018. I hold an M.A. from the same program and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of St. Thomas.
My research uses a political psychology approach to examine civil resistance, human rights, and environmental politics, and I recently co-authored an article on OpenGlobalRights describing the relationship between political ideology and human rights attitudes.
I have over seven years of experience teaching at the university-level and teach a variety of courses in each of the Political Science subfields.
